J.A. Owenby lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband and cat.

She’s a published author of six short stories, and she is currently working on her second full-length novel. She also runs her own business as a professional resume writer and interview coachβ€”she helps people find jobs they love.

J.A. is an avid reader of thrillers, romance, new adult, and young adult novels. She loves music, movies, and good wine. And call her crazy, but she loves the rainy Pacific Northwest; she gets her best story ideas while listening to the rain pattering against the windows in front of the fireplace.

  5. Jen,

Love the site, save for one point. I’ve lived in Dallas for many years, and I still hate the Cowboys πŸ˜‰ My late sister was an avid fan of the team though … so I guess you have good tastes.

Will spend more time here next week.

    • LOL! That’s funny. They are my favorite team, but I won’t hold that against you. πŸ™‚ Do you like other teams? Thanks for visiting and sharing Wayne.

  9. Hi Jen, I love your blog and have signed in to follow you. It was funny as I was reading your most recent post regarding your anniversary, it was like reading my life written by someone else. I too have an anniversay in two weeks with a wonderful man who, like your husband is my partner, lover, best friend, my rock, and is truly an amazing human being. It is nive to know that there are still a few good men left in this world and woman do have a choice to leave. It is imparative they do so. My exes were both horrible, and I thank God, that I didn’t marry the second one. I count my blessings, but it took a lot of toads to find my prince. And I look back now and it seems like eons ago. I remained single believing I would be forever, and I was okay with that. Then I met the man who would be my hussband. Cheers to finding the strength to move on and forward.

  10. thank you so much for dropping by my site!
